Senior Python Developer

What are we looking for?

As a Python Developer, you will architect, design, and develop core Python-based platforms and services; you’ll work across the full software development lifecycle and produce product technical roadmaps, collaborating with the Product team to refine feature requirements.

The successful Python Developer will be joining our ambitious product development team. We have a roadmap full of some incredible products so the talented developer will be working with the CTO to deliver new functionalities.

We are a close-knit team of 6, who work remotely but communicate constantly. The work is ambitious, and everyone works with autonomy.

Using your commercial acumen you’ll help to undertake research, produce PoCs and introduce new and emerging technologies to the stack.

There’s a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home with only occasional visits to Manchester, Central London, and our new office in Valencia for team meet-ups.

Essential Skillsets

  • You have strong Python backend software engineering experience.

  • You have experience with APIs, RESTful services, JSON, SOAP.

  • You have a good knowledge of RDBMS e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, PostGIS.

  • You have a good knowledge of AWS.

  • You’re familiar with Linux-based environments and DevOps approaches, Docker would be great.

  • Great communication skills are essential.
